Your files
Files you drop into any converter on this site never leave your device. All conversion happens in JavaScript and WebAssembly running locally in your browser. There is no upload, no server-side processing, no temporary storage on our side, and no possibility of us seeing your files because they never reach us.
You can verify this independently: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and run a conversion. You will see network requests for the page assets and the converter library code, but no request containing your file payload. You can also disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded — most converters will continue to work.
What we collect
- Basic analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track individual users.
- Ad-related cookies: Pages display ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads. See Google's advertising policy for details. By default, until you accept the consent banner, AdSense is instructed to serve only non-personalized ads (which still set cookies for frequency capping and fraud prevention).
- Consent choice: We store your cookie consent choice in your browser's localStorage under the key
fpc_consent_v1. This data never leaves your browser.
What we do not collect
- Account information — there are no accounts on this site.
- Email addresses.
- Your files or any data extracted from your files.
- Any data that could identify you individually beyond standard server logs (IP address, user agent), which are kept by Cloudflare and not by us.
Cookies
We use the following cookies and similar technologies:
- Google AdSense cookies — for ad serving, frequency capping, and ad fraud prevention. Set by Google.
- localStorage entry
fpc_consent_v1— remembers your consent choice so we don't show the banner again.
Third parties
- Cloudflare — serves the page and provides DDoS protection. Their privacy policy.
- Google AdSense — serves display ads.
- jsDelivr / unpkg / cdnjs — we load some open-source converter libraries from these CDNs. They see your IP address as the standard side-effect of any CDN-served file.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have rights regarding your personal data. Since we don't collect personal data about you directly, most of these rights are exercised against the third parties listed above (Google, Cloudflare). To opt out of personalized ads from Google specifically, see Google Ad Settings.
