How it works

This tool uses an ONNX-format AI model that runs locally in your browser via WebAssembly. The first time you use it, your browser downloads the model and caches it (~20 MB). After that, removal is fast and fully offline.

What it's good at

Clear subjects with distinct edges — people, products, pets
Solid or simple backgrounds
Studio-style shots

What it struggles with

Hair and fur edges (these are hard for every background remover)
Subjects that match the background color
Very small subjects or busy scenes

Nothing leaves your browser

This is the key difference from remove.bg and most other AI tools — they upload your photo to their server. Here, your photo is processed locally by the model running in this tab. Open DevTools and watch the Network tab to confirm.
