Strip EXIF Metadata
Remove camera model, GPS location, timestamps, and all other hidden metadata from your photos. Useful before posting online, sending to strangers, or selling on marketplace sites.

What gets removed
- GPS coordinates — your phone often saves the exact location where the photo was taken
- Camera make and model — iPhone 15 Pro, Sony A7 IV, etc.
- Date and time — when the photo was taken
- Lens info, exposure, ISO, shutter speed
- Owner name and copyright if your camera was configured with them
- Editing history from Photoshop or Lightroom
How it works
We re-encode your image through a canvas. The canvas API doesn't carry over metadata, so the new file has none. The pixel data is preserved at high quality.
Before you post a photo online
Run it through here first. Especially photos taken at home or work — GPS coordinates are accurate to a few meters.
